The regular Captor is like 1/3 the cost and you can just load IRs in your DAW.
The X can be used live with IRs. More versatility.

Where about? I’m in Cleveland.

Re: Time to replace the wireless for the guitar...

I’ve been using a 5.0ghz Lekato off of Amazon for over a year. Has worked perfectly. If I was going to be super far from the transmitter (it’s on my pedalboard) I MIGHT get something more expensive but this thing has been rock solid.

Re: How are you managing the PA topic in your band?

Shared gear is always a mess, in my experience. I bought the PA because previously the drummer threw a fit and quit. He owned the PA so it hosed us. This way nobody can take their ball and go home. I mean, except you. You now have that power lol Well somebody has to have the power. I’d rather it be...

Re: How are you managing the PA topic in your band?

I built the PA with the band's money, so we all own it. I'm the most technical in the band, so we discuss what we want and I tell them how much that'll cost and we make a decision. When we started out I did most of the setup, but I taught others how to do the grunt work as I went. After I taught th...

Re: How are you managing the PA topic in your band?

I just dropped $10K on a band PA. I made it clear that EVERYONE is a roadie in this band and that no one is rolling in ten minutes before we hit the stage. Everyone will learn how to set up before the gig and strike the stage after otherwise I’m going to be taking at least 50% of the money for gigs....
