Unplug your rigs today

Post by Guitarbilly »

Solar storm hitting earth today. Big chance of nasty power surges.

Consider unplugging your rigs and any valuable electronic devices you're not using

News said the last time an event like this happened was 2005.

I remember being on patrol, marching north. No one was saying anything, we all just stared up at the sky.

Probably the longest period of time I've marched anywhere without anyone bitching about it.

I live a block away from Lake Erie and I walked down last night to take a look. Very cool to see! Was rocking out too but didn't have any power issues.

Did anybody else come back to a wonky computer on Monday? My calendar reset to the year 2164. My browser is jacked. I've had to rebuild it, passwords and all. It sucks. I truly think it was the sun. I turn it off every weekend. The only difference was unplugging it. It's also on the second floor near a window, facing the sun. I wonder.
