I was cutting -12db with the Hot Plate. Still loud though. Definitely large stage volume still. Without the attenuator it's just insanity.

I've been thinking about getting the Synergy preamp for my rack again but the entry price is steep. Once you get going it's easy to buy modules though..

I had to use my Hot Plate attenuator to keep the volume reasonable and it worked really well. Amp sounded glorious.

I was gonna say, you're pretty damn close, distance-wise, to a 100-watt amp that sounds like that. But then again, I have this memory where I was at your place in Reseda, and you had something cranked inside a room, and I had to walk out.
