I've been reading about 3rd Power amps since a friend of mine bought one and he's been raving about it!! But I wasn't aware of this model! This is definitely a top contender, the specs are perfect.

What about some of the Revv stuff? Like the Generator 7-40 , Dynamis 40 or G50

I never tried a Revv. They do have a great feature set

Was the lynx you played a newer one or an older one? The original version is more of a heavy rock tone. The new ones feel like they're built to go after the whalefart crowd. the oldies aren't very common but there is one for sale on r-t right now

Probably the newer version since it was a brand new amp from a dealer. I didn't know they had 2 versions. Interesting.
