I had to make up for my last Sobor pedal purchase.... the JHS Violet pedal is OK but my pedal collection already covers Violet tones.
The Fortin Fuzz))) sounds like it does SUNN DOOM pretty well. WTF? INCOMMING!!!!

The Fortin-Fuzz))) arrived last week and it actually sounds really good!!! It has a real clarity when picking notes and arpeggios that I never heard before from another fuzz or even with a distortion pedal.
The sweep, on the fuzz knob was so weird that I sent it back to Fortin for a checkup.... the sweep runs from about 7:00 to 5:00 and it does absolutely nothing until 3:00 where the fuzz kicks in full blast.
They received it yesterday and I they sent me a reply - "There is nothing wrong with the knob. The sweep was designed to work that way".
They're sending it back to me, no charge. They also apologized for not asking more about the issue before I mailed it to them for testing.
Anyway, I'm disappointed with the sweep of the fuzz knob but, it does sound great so, I'll be keeping it!!! YAY!!!!

I think Fortin fucked up the circuit on the fuzz knob and either went to production without noticing or they didn't want to spend any more time redesigning.

Didn’t think this was my thing until I watched the second video and it demo’d the cleans. $80 makes it tempting.
It really does sound good... totally worth it even with a wonky fuzz knob.
I'm not sure how long the sale will last... ya gotta grab them cakes while their hot!
