Another new song without vocals, but its an INSTRUMENTAL

This one is on purpose! I used to write stuff in this realm quite a bit, but I never put in the full effort.. Id get a skeleton and sorta itd fade away without too much more work.. I still wrote this over just 2 days, so it may not be in its final state.. But I didn't want to keep stacking and stacking layers.. Gonna see how this feels for a bit..

Recording is the 6505.. Using GGD contenders IRS for the rhythms and all the layers and overdubs are with the IRS in my Mesa cab clone.. They are Its I put in there but I don't know which ones they are now.. Just go with what sounds right..

Prolly be a little different sounding for some of you who only hear the Thrash and death metal

Nice man, it's a darker, slower pace than your usual material, definitely a style I like more (personally). Great song and production.

Guitar tone is so thick!! Sounds good. Song is cool. I like the slower pace of this. Still heavy. All the stuff going on around 3 min is pretty rad! Some cool ghost sounding layers at the end, too.

Tone is very thick. Which I definitely lean towards. I have a good theory of why it is, cause my fast stuff I def don’t want to be thin. So I always dial in thicker. Fatter pickups. Darker speakers. Etc. Altho these are IRs of course but they are similar to my real cab. It might be my favorite tone I e gotten with IRs. The GGD contender thing is really good but I still haven’t used it on anythin more than say Sons or extra layers, but this is all GGD. Plus I used a fair bit only the Soundtoys Microshift plugin for my center guitar. So hard L and R and then a center rhythm with the microshift providing the width. I actually mixed em all pretty equal, so it’s a pretty solid wall of tone there. Lol
