POD Express Demo

Post by dstroud »

Here’s a little track I put together with the Pod Express. Trying to get into the brutz territory with the rhythm - not sure if I’m there lol Overall I’m really digging this!! Especially for the lead tones I’m more familiar with. I have the Black version too - not bonding with it yet. I need to go back to Ola’s vid and see how he got tones. But the editor is really nice and simple - kinda my speed haha

My brother owns one, and really digs it. I must admit, it does sound nice, if you EQ it properly, which he does not - he tends to be a bit icepick-y. This is good, though.

Yeah that's a solid lead tone. Reminds me of Marty Friedman's tone a bit. The rhythm is bit honky but I'm sure that can be eq'd out a bit.
Amazing playing as usual!!!

thanks man!! It’s really versatile with some good eq options without being too crazy with a bunch of pages on the editor. I’m impressed with it :)

thanks man!! Yeah some nice tone options on this. The lead tone is my main tone I’d use for everything live direct to the pa. I was seeing what else I could squeeze out of it :) I’m a one tone ride the volume type guy. for live though

I dig that rhythm tone and the lead tone compliments it well. It may not be modern brootz, but modern brootz tends toward being way too bright for my tastes. That tone would totally work for the late thrash, early death type tones, which is kinda my bread and butter.

Sounds great, man.
