I miss the Mesa Caliber 50 for sure. Also, Mesa F100, Soldano Avenger, Laney GH100L, Friedman Runt 50 and Dirty Shirley. Maybe the Bogner Uberschall Twin Jet too.
I think that's pretty much it for amps. Guitars, I don't think I miss anything. That doesn't mean I don't want more guitars
Ampeg VL1002 full stack
Marshall 8100
My first Carvin DC127, the rest were less than
My Epiphone Super Strat with the carved top. Hated the pickup layout HSS, but liked the rest of it
Everything else is kinda whatever or easily replaced.
There is some stuff I kind of would like to mess around with again, but I don’t really care enough to track down again to own again.
Marshall 2204
Soldano SLO
Metaltronix M1000 (Billy and I were talking about Lee Jackson stuff the other day, and laughing about Dave Friedman’s disdain for those designs)
Laney AOR
But actually, out of amp stuff, the only thing I’d like to have around again is a regular old 1960 cab with T75s.
Guitars, I sometimes miss my SG and RG550. But funny enough the guitar that springs to my mind the most is a Candy apple Red Tokai Strat I had for a short time.
Pedals I don’t really care about.
Amps: Morris Sirrom
Guitars: Charvel SoCal MIJ, Assorted parts builds
I miss my Les Paul traditional Plus top. I've got a PRS SC250 which I love but it's not a Les Paul. I intended to buy a Les Paul in 2024 but that didn't happen, so maybe in 2025 I'll pick one up.
I miss my OMI Dobro that I had to sell to pay the rent in 2006.
I also miss my first amp, a Sunn Sentura II. My Solarus sounds the same but it's not quite as loud.
Walt said: When the hour is nigh & the lights are low & I got a toothpick of a shwag joint in my teeth & my friends want to hear me play Into the Void or TNT or Cemetery Gates I plug my $600 guitar into my $150 amp and I am a Rawk gawd
'93 1959SLP
2266 Vintage Modern
'81 Ibanez DT400CS. I played this guitar for 3 decades until the frets were so worn it was unplayable. I should have had the frets replaced and kept it but instead I sold it.
1997 Gibson Les Paul Special with Seymour Duncan P-90s
Ceriatone 2204HW
Mojotone 4x12 (looked like a Marshall 1960BX) with UK made Greenbacks
First run Fender Blues Deville 4x10 with Alnico speakers
90's Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus (fortunately, I got another one recently)
Fender FSR '72 Telecaster Deluxe Reissue in tangerine sparkle (beautiful guitar and sounded tits after I threw in Mojotone Wide Range humbuckers and rewired it.)
