Eventually I’m gonna actually use my recording abilities to make these killer, but only for my own tunes. While I’m starting from ground zero as far as YouTube, I’m also starting from ground zero for releasing new material since yeah, I left my old band where even tho I did a TON of stuff from recording and playing drums and guitars and writing songs, I did it as a team player. I didn’t care if I got any credit. But now I ain’t in that band and nothing followed me from it. While of course they aren’t huge, there is a sumthin to the name we created and I would have liked to at least have a partial audience follow me from there…

So that’s where this YouTube is hopefully gonna come in. I’m not gonna a normal wannabe guitar YouTuber. Lol. Meaning I really don’t plan to do some of the standard shit but I figure maybe if I do some difficult covers, like this one. And just concentrate more on the music , I can at least get 500 or so so when I come out with my album for World of Shit it simply won’t disappear into the nether world. So that’s kinda what these are about even tho it’s totally ghetto for now.

There is that one riff that I really thought I wasn’t gonna be able to play! Lol. And I’m not some total badass, but it’s rare I can’t handle riffs from bands I listen to. So it was a good challenge actually. It was outside my comfort zone which was the main reason I went ahead and did it. And then once I got the hang of it, it was like damn that’s fucking sick ass riff. I realized I need to get back and UP my brutality! Hahah. Altho this was released maybe 25 years ago now?? Kinda crazy…

As far as Hate Eternal, it’s basically this dude Erik Rutan, who’s now in Cannibal. But he started off in one of my all time fave bands Ripping Corpse. But he was only 17-18, and didn’t write much for them but he was still in the band. Then he went on to playing Morbid Angel for a bit, and then he started his own band Hate Eternal. They are hit or miss, even tho I think he’s a monster player and he writes great songs at times, some of his best work was for Morbid Angel for sure. And the first couple Hate Eternal lives up to expectations… but then he sorta lost his way. It was all a million miles an hour all the time. And what’s funny, or I should say he fell into the trap of being this known Producer. And started his own studio and he’s basically THE guy now in Florida doing tons of bands recordings. But on Hate Eternals shit, they started sounding terrible. It’s like he was TOO involved. And I think that caused his albums to suffer was he wasnt able to properly distance himself at times. But the very last one they did “Upon Desolate Sands” was their best one since like 2005 for me.
