I may go white pearloid on it. Just something to keel it unique. I could always do black no problem. But I might have some fun with the guard before I go to black.

I have only had one SG. Always an LP guy, but the SG sounded great. It had a 50's neck and the neck dive on that one was too much.
Looks like you snagged a good one! The pickguard is what it is. I don't hate it though. If it feels right, then it is right.
