My first "good" guitar was a Charvel model 2. Pretty sure it was a model 2 anyway. Didn't have a middle pickup. I didn't realize how great the neck was until much later when I had owned many other guitars. Noob figuring things out I guess. Nice score!

Charvel is picking up steam as a popular choice on here. Soon we may be doing battle like the crabs in "Finding Nemo" for them.

And yes, per my quick dive, it looks like J90C in the bridge. Awesome pickup.

Yep, I opened it up last night. J90C. Sounds amazing!! It's high output but it still has that PAF crispness.

Yeah the Model 2 is single humbucker with the locking trem. Model 1 is the same with a vintage strat style ttem.

These necks are the main reason I'm buying these guitars!
