It there a vote option "neck dive or not, these aren't that cool"? I don't like 24 fret SGs and I really don't like SGs this churched up. They are supposed to be rock 'n roll machines, not lawyer collectibles, IMO

I've done this to every SG I've owned. It makes the guitar more balanced and easier to play.

This guy knows a thing or 2 about SGs and seems to agree:

If it fixes the problem, then I'm all for it. I haven't done this to any of my own SGs, as they all balance pretty well and don't neck dive. Also, all SGs should be 24 fret!
