Jamming some Ratt

Post by dstroud »

Been listening to lotsa Ratt these days. I gotta say, their tunes really hold up for me, more than lots of other bands from the 80s. For this I used my LTD TE-200>Boss Sd-1>Blankenship Masterplex>Marshall 1960 cab. Delays/verb are Pro Tools Plugins. I this is the 1st Warren solo I tried to learn. Not note for note by any means, but it was fun :) I used Moises to remove all the guitar - that is an awesome program!!

I love doing big, long sustained bends like at 1:14. Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley call them "dinosaur bends."

Killer playing, man!!!! You captured Warren's style really well. What amp did you use?

Nice job, Darren! Love that tune and your playing! I've been on a Ratt kick as of late.
