So I took the Rectifier to practice today. It took me one song to realize that the amp won't work for me. So I switched to the Plexi for the rest of the practice.
After practice, I drove straight to Atomic Music and worked out a trade for......
That's a much better amp for me than the Rectifier. I had forgotten how awesome the 100w version of this amp sounds. All 3 channels are killer. I also had forgotten how huge this head is
But I'm happy with this amp. I have a gig this coming Sunday and I'll definitely use it. I think I can play my whole set with this amp and a delay through the loop.
Weird, its just on my phone that pictures aren't showing up
Very nice
I only have the 50 watt but I agree that these amps are more straight forward and instant gratification than a recto. They just sound so good and its hard to dial in a bad sound makes more sense for your style too
Guitars: PRS/Gibson
Amps: Mesa Mark V | '76 Fender Deluxe Reverb | EVH 5153 6L6 50w| Mesa Mark IV | Badlander 50

Which Rectifier did you have?
Triple Rectifier non multiwatt. Great sounding amp but not for what I am doing.

yeah that's the thing. I don't think this amp is better than the recto per se. It all depends on what you're doing. But it does make a lot more sense for my style.
