NPUD!! Ultrasonic Edition

So, I recently acquired a middle position Ultrasonic pickup from Germany. It's an old school version of early Bill Lawrence designs. The thing I find cool, is that there are 5 pads to solder wire to. The north, south, and ground positions.

I cannot wait to try this out.

I've been interested in these ever since COC was in a centerfold of Guitar for the Practicing Musician and Pepper had two humbuckers with the logo on them. I cannot wait to put them in my third custom guitar I decided to do. It even has the same dimensions as an EMG.

Oh man, what do you think of it? I read they put out a flat response like APC or Ajo pickups.

Reminds me of an EMG 81. I have some youtube vids using this pickup. I'll dig through them this weekend and post them up.
