Incoming ghost note audio RGX100 preamp

Sold the chug to a friend and it's immediately getting replaced with a ghost note audio RGX 100. This is an updated take on the RG100es. Deets here:

Clips when it arrives! Boosted with a metal zone of course . The idea is that this will be in stereo/parallel with the colossus.

I'm definitely interested in the vh140c pre he does, so I'll probably end up with one of those if I dig this. My bud is picking up the sunn beta lead preamp next week. The 8100 looks cool too, as the warhead X2 preamp. This guy does a load of cool stuff!

I'll largely be running it with IRs to record with so I'll report back on that. I think most of their official clips are recorded direct to interface with IRs. I'll of course be posting clips once it arrives. I think the lead 100 model would be a great choice for you!

I'd grab the 8100 first, but I love my shitty little red stripe Studio Pro. It's just cool somebody provides a preamp option for that tone.

This arrived today. It definitely needs a boost to get where I want, although that shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Gonna nab my metal zone and back of my bud and borrow his precision drive to see where I can get it. If it doesn't work out then I'll send it back and try the VH140c preamp. Annoyingly, the brand new barrel jack I have just fit to my RGIB6 only 2 months ago is already acting fucky
