NAD!!!!

Post by Guitarbilly »

I went to Atomic Music today because they usually do "secret' sales on the second Sunday of the month.
They had this for sale for $750:

I had brought some pedals to trade so I ended up paying $450 out of pocket. I could not pass on it! I really like this amp. It's one of Mesa's take on a Marshall type tone so it's right up my alley. It does have a British character but it still sounds like a Mesa to me. All 3 channels sound great. FX loop and reverb are really good too. I think this is going to be the "keeper" Mesa for me, because it does sit right in between Mesa and Marshall tones. Really happy with it.

Hahaha I could make a YT series. Kind of like Ola's "will it chug" but it would be "will he buy" with a little timer running to see how long it'd take for me to burn money at the store

Congratulations. These are great amps. I prefer the Electra Dyne slightly but yeah great mashup of Marshally and Mesa tones. Super cheap score! :rawk:

Cool. Don't think I've ever seen one of these in person. Look forward to some clips at some point, man.

That's a nice, lush clean tone.

Dig the crunch/blue. It's marshally, but with a bit of that mesa smoothness too.

The red sounds very similar to the blue, with maybe a shade more bite but just as articulate.

Sounds great on all three, really. The Laney tower beside it really sets it off too.
