Lend me your ears

Post by _ej_ »

I've been working on an AC15 build. I've got it (mostly) debugged and sounding pretty excellent. However I've got a low end distortion that really jumps out at me when I record the amp. Take a listen to the quick clip below and let me know what you guys hear.

Is this just typical EL84 tone?

Yeah I hear it. I'd say this is not normal based on the AC15s I've played, but I never tried to record with one.

I hear it. It stands out like a sore thumb vs the rest of the tone. But I've never played any AC15 or clone, so wtf do I know lol.
