I got a ceriatone 2204 with a loop and a smaller head shell, its pretty compact. its 21” x 9.5” x 8.5” oh and only took like 3 weeks to get

Maybe a fargen plex?? Always was curious about those with the decade switch

hmmm you know, that's not a bad idea :hmm: that is actually EXACTLY what I described in my first post. How's the master volume of the current Ceriatone 2204s? I had an older model that went from zero to fuckoff in a second (same as my 1986 2204 tbh).

Maybe a Grand Amplification JCM clone. Handwired.
50 watter is about $900 shipped.

Ceriatone 2204 is a bit touchy at bedroom volumes. but there is a 1/2 power switch that when it’s on, its pretty easy to dial volume in low

serious suggestion, what about the jet city hand wired amps? Didnt you get one of those 800 when they first made them and like it? Cant beat the price.

YeahI had one. It was ok but I wasn't too impressed with it. I think with a few upgrades it could be a great amp though.

I LOVE the Soldano designed JCAs I think they're a great way to get the Soldano tone on a budget. They're all well built and pretty close to the originals (Hot Rods, not SLO). The current line, I'm not too impressed with.
