I think PastFX uses smt, so I am not sure how that could be considered handmade.

No it’s through hole wiring and soldering with pcbs. Nothing surface mount.

No it’s through hole wiring and soldering with pcbs. Nothing surface mount.

The gutshots online look mainly smt.

I still have my dad’s OG Rockman X100

I spent hours running it direct in to his old Tascam 12 track board. The stereo chorus blew my mind back then and I’d spend hours playing it through headphones.

I need to dig it back out and see how it is 30 years later.

Well, they still make awesome pedals. I'm pretty sure most of my favorite pedals are smd now.

Fair and likely true based on demos. I was just pointing out that if they are smt/smd (or predominantly such), then they aren't exactly hand made. That is all.
