Long time no see, boys. I had a partscaster tele with real TV Jones I put together and I loved the way it sounded. I hated the Clapton carve on the warmoth neck I chose. I finally gave up and decided to buy a Mexican tele that would accept TV Jones pups. Took a lot of searching but was about to snag this example and it was about as brand new as it can get. Someone put it in a closet right after purchase.

Slapped all my good electronics and pickups in it and it's pretty glorious. Really love how the guitar all came together.

Oh damn! I had the thinking version and foolishly sold it. It's one of the guitars I regret selling the most. They cut through a mix so well.

The TV Jones upgrade was pretty substantial compared to the fidelitrons. They were tinny in comparison. TV Jones eq is much wider.

Yeah the original plan was to put TV Jones pickups in it. I ended up selling it instead and regretted it later.
