Just discovered something new in Reaper.
I just got a new laptop, I5 CPU with 16 GB of RAM.
It was rendering really fast, faster then my desktop which should tromp it.
Apparently the setting for block size under render in Preferences has a lot to do with how fast Reaper renders.
I set it for 1024, and it renders instantly. Smaller block sizes are better for automation though.
I set it for 128, and it still renders faster now then when I had nothing set for block size.
Like 17 X's faster, compared to 3 X's as fast.
