Exactly what I’ve been looking at actually!!
Yeah I’ve been thinking of similar for my Starla. But I’d need to find someone who can cut a new guard and cut for Filter’tron pickups. I’m not a fan of TV Jones HB sized Trons and don’t want gaps in my pickguard

Hmm I guess that’s something I haven’t considered… is it a big sound difference?

Also was sort of considering doing something nutty like a t armond in the neck and a heavier BKP in the bridge
Oh I don’t think there’s a sound difference at all. It’s just the way they look. It’s not like the actual PRS pickups where they’re essentially HB size bobbins. They literally put a Filter’tron in their own custom cover so the rows of poles are closer together.

A BKP could be kind of awesome though!

Looks good actually. Gibson is in a bit of a tough position when it comes to creating new models because their customer base is really conservative and does not accept pretty much any changes or new models, unless it's associated with a big artist. So they kind of have to recycle older models.

I'd like to see a reissue of their "90 series" Vs and SGs. I had a pair of SG90s that were awesome.

I'd want a blonde or buttercream Flying V with an Explorer headstock and HSS pickups.

They exist (HSS pickups aside), but they're extremely hard to find. Only 500 of them were made in 1985.
