yeah 75s got a bad reputation from people trying the cabs at low store volumes. They need a certain amount of volume to sound good, but they're great speakers once up get the volume up to band levels.

Yeah likely wrong amp
I guess. I love all style greenbacks. For a few reasons. They seem to work with the amps I have. And also, it’s cause they are NOT supposed to be metal. lol. I use them first, because I like em, and I make em work because it’s not “supposed” to work for the music I tend to do….
But also I’m fine with t75s too. I used some older 80s ones in my main cab for over 10 years. Altho, I listen to them old recordings and feel pretty good about em, I use em and record them today and I just don’t hear it the same…I hear very specific frequencies that are too dominant

On the old version of this forum we even had a “G12T75s aren’t for pussies!” thread. Sentiment still holds up.Vladimir Putin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 5:45 pmGuitarbilly wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 4:35 pm yeah 75s got a bad reputation from people trying the cabs at low store volumes. Nice
The sentiment stands. So far they’ve been absolutely killer with the SLO.

Re: F greenbacks
I have some greenbacks in my H&K 4x12 and they are fantastic. I know they are UK made, but I have no idea if they are a Heritage model. This cab was made in the early 2000s, so I am not even sure they had Heritage models then. I have found that not all speakers work best in all cabinet designs... Maybe that is what is happening with yours... Maybe they are not broken in enough.
