Dang this sucks to hear. Hope you can get it sorted

I just took mine out to a gig last weekend

I actually accidentally left my footswitch behind at the venue or in the greenroom (I think). Haven't been able to get back down there and the longer I wait I have less and less confidence that I'll actually get it back. Was thinking about saying screw it and just getting a cheap 2 button hossa footswitch but now reading this thread I'm scared to do anything out of the ordinary with the FS lol

Oh man, good luck on getting the switch back. If everything worked, then you might not have the issue. The maker is under the impression of faulty parts, but I guess we'll not know for sure unless others out there experience similar issues.

How'd the amp sound cranked? I'm surprised by how loud this sucker can get.

If its the same model, you could provide him some pictures of the inside of that footswitch to determine if an off the shelf FS will suffice.

I don't think you understand what a chore it was for me to get this far in the thread

It sounded killer at the show!! I was super happy with its performance. This gig wasn’t my actual band, it was a very last minute “””””supergroup””” late night set we hopped on with myself my drummer and a few members of another band we often play/collaborate with. A handful of covers morphed together with mostly improv/jamming. Not a lot of high gain that night but we did do Kylie minogue segued into funky music shite boy segued into enter sandman with a heavy chugging jam afterwords so I was able to let the heavier tones shine a little bit there

After 4 months with the amp the only “complaint” I have is that those GEQ sliders are a bit flimsy/sensitive/extreme and even -more- temperamental than any of my actual marks. But it’s a great sounding amp and definitely faithful/accurate to the mark sound.

Definitely very bummed to hear about your struggles though :( hope you can get it sorted

Owning a real mark and the Crab what would you say the tonal differences or feel would be other than the EQ comment?

I’m bad at qualifying this stuff into words lol but it’s like 90-95% of the way there it not more. Obviously even my mark III, IV and V all have there differences from each other too, and there’s a million variations of the III as well
