Current Australian punk bands
Some pretty cool bands from Australia, I knew some from the 90’s era like The living End and Frenzal Rhomb and i discovered the Chats 4 years ago then today I came across Drunk Mums.
They’ve both got that late 70’s / 80’s vibe to them.

I've been a fan of this band from Melborne for a while. Australia has been killing it with punk band for the past few years.

Really cool scene , high energy, don’t take themselves too serious. The Chats are great too

King Gizz is not punk but they are current, Australian, musically eccentric, and completely awesome. Their metal albums are legit too.
Wu-Tang is for the children.

Came in here to mention Gizz, not exactly punk but they have at least a couple albums that are probably punk adjacent at the least

Man I've been listening to these bands non-stop the last few days, it makes me really happy to see young bands playing this kind of stuff.
I also the current Swedish glam metal scene, which is obviously completely different (opposite) to this but great younger bands making kick ass rock music.
