The Kraken is indeed a great sounding amp. Really unique response that’s addictive to play, too. The way I dialed it, I didn’t find it too different from the evh, but I’m looking for amps to do something pretty specific most of the time, so I’d take Drew’s word on the rock stuff.

No regrets though. I put a pair of KT77's in it and it really opened the sound up more.

I forgot how hard this thing slaps.
