NPD: Hotone Ampero Stomp

I bought this pedal to use as a "post" effects processor with the IR-D.
Received it yesterday.
My first impressions are great. I put it in the IR-D effects loop, set the levels to unity gain and created a blank patch (no effects) to see how it would affect the tone. I turned the IR-D effects loop on and off to take the Ampero in/out the chain and there is no tone change that I can hear. Completely transparent.
Creating effects patches is super easy. This is the first unit I have with a touch screen and it's great. Makes things really simple
I also like that you can create a "Template" with your main effects and load it in every time you want to create a new patch and quickly change settings and turn effects on/off. Very easy and intuitive.
The pedal also has amp and cab modeling, I tried them briefly and it's okay I guess, but I don't like modeling and I won't use any of it.
There's also an option to do 4CM but I'm not using that either.
Overall, I am very impressed with it. They did a great job with the effects, there's a "rack delay" that's very close to the SDE3000, the Chorus options are great, including the Dimension C that I really like. Noise gate is good, Several EQ options and they all work great.
I was a bit weary about buying something by "Hotone"since I don't really know the brand, but this was praised by Friedman, Bradshaw, Michael Nielsen etc so I figured it would be a good unit.
I'm considering buying a second one for my amp rig. Very impressed with how easy it is to use and how good the effects are.
