had this speaker in my recording cab for a long while and never even tried it. one play i love it, next i dont lol, dont really have an opinion yet but it could definitely work for something. this is my Godin with a 81, monomyth marshall and a unidyne 57

Sounds tough as hell. I like it.

I've got two k100's in Two Home maid cabs ( 1x12's) and they work just fine.

I felt the same way about the K100s. Sometimes I loved them and sometimes I didn't. I had a Randall 300w SS head that sounded great with them.
This clip sounds great!!! The monomyth mods are really cool.

My favorite speaker. I am about to load a k85 (same speaker) and a v30 into my 212.

Seems like out of your selection you kinda favor the Monmyth the most?

Sounds great. I got Along with my k100s for quite awhile until I just started not to for some reason. I have three 8 ohm k100s for sale if anyone is interested

i could see them working with randalls, they dont sound all that far off from Jaguars to me. ill have to try it.

i got so many cool amps now with no real overlaps in tone that i cant pick a favorite, my favorite amp is whichever im playing at the moment as dumb as that kind of sounds but its true lol, but yeah the monomyth is great and records very well. i just go dead center now to start at least, which most of the time seems to work fine, i got a led flashlight the same size as a 57 and marked the center of each speaker for reference

thank you, its a cool flavor, i got my couple cabs with all different speakers for recording, gonna keep it in one of them for sure, gonna try mixing it with some different speakers

So I saw the Monmyth mentioned, is this that Modded Origin?? That really is a killer tone. And if it is, is that straight in?

yup, strait in. i remember he told me he had to mod it a bunch to make it "more like an 800", i dont know what that entails but it i think i paid him $900 total with a metro loop and new tubes. this dude and him collab on a lot of stuff, i dont know if the mods are the same but this dude breaks it down and his amps sound cool too
