Be careful with stew mac dimensions

Their site says a switchcraft toggle mounts in a 1/2” hole.

I bought a 1/2 drillbit. I thought “damn that looks big”.

Measured yhe toggle, it’s 7/16” on the threaded portion.

Always measure.

New drillbit otw.

Yeah I had similar experiences, not with StewMac per se, but I've bought parts where the "official" measurements were off. My guess is that with most of this stuff being made overseas, they get confused with imperial measurements :lol: But the US sellers should double check them...

Yeah man! I bought a cool pickup switch ring for my SG on Reverb... shipping from France.
It was supposed to fit Gibsons but, the hole was too small.... had to clamp it down to a piece of wood and drill it out!!!
I think it was worth it!!! :D
