Got my Schecter back from the shop. He filed down the edges of the frets and crowned them. Definitely feels much better and shame on Schecter for not already doing this

Maybe it's a common thing idk but it's the first guitar I've had that hurt my fingers to play. Anyway for that file and a setup he only charged me $45.

I've had the Iconic for a couple of weeks now and it sounds acceptable with the Schecter. Have a Black Winter in the bridge.

It's a great amp for me, does what I need it to do. Its no Uber Ultra but I like the amp. I will get to A/B it with a 6505+ this weekend I believe which should be cool to do.

Anyway....poverty B52 cab. Really need a V30 cab and I'll be happy with my setup at that point.

Came up with a weird and lame hardcore type of riff and recorded a cell phone clip.

Awesome bro, get a good cab and you’re there. The Iconic, especially the el34, hangs with anything. I have one and it gets as much use as my tremoverb, mark iii++ and Uber Ultra. It’s a great amp, I like it more than the 5150 iii and all the variants of it I have owned.

If budget is your main concern there are a ton of super solid cabs you can find for ~300 bucks all day

Sounds great on a cell phone clip!!! I bet it sounds AWESOME in the room!!!!

If budget is your main concern there are a ton of super solid cabs you can find for ~300 bucks all day

Im dead set on a v30 cab. Would settle for the v30 x 75 uberkab as well.

The only and best deal I've found here was a V30 loaded Rivera cab. He said he would take my Katana combo and $325 or something along those lines. Deciding between that or saving up $800 and just getting an uberkab somewhere.

Where are you located? If there is a guitar center nearby that is a great place to get used cabs and shipping for a 4x12 is like 35 bucks

Yeah, ive been looking. They had a Mills afterburner tbh i was going to snag but today was payday and it's gone now. Last cab in my cart was $85 ship, which still ain't bad.

Im in st louis, there are 2 GC here but nothing great locally. Waiting on a reply from them tbh, I message to confirm the speakers first.

That first clip was 1/4 power. Here's one full power. Still low volume, don't get to really turn it up here.

Dare I say it's even better than the actual 5150. I'm sure that would ruffle some feathers lol but I think maybe so.

Idk, im pretty excited to bring it to my friend's tomorrow. Will get to run it through a Mesa cab and A/B with a 6505+

Yeah, im listing some stuff for sale to speed up the process. This B52 cab is arse. It's better than nothing though but it's just a loaner till I get a cab.
