Got a few new things in the last couple of weeks. First up, NGD. I got this LTD SN-1 since I guess they're being discontinued and SW had them on sale. This guitar has really surprised me with how great it sounds! I ripped the Fishman out and put a Duncan Blackened Black Winter in it.





Here it is next to my Bauer strat. You could say I have a type lolol.



I also got a few new pedals...well, 2 and 1 old one that I missed having. Dispatch Master. I love this pedal, and wanted to have that sound back. I also got this Ibanez Pentatonic EQ and the Waza SD-1. This meant I needed a bigger pedal board, so got that, too haha. This has been pretty fun having more than just a couple of utility pedals. I might get a phaser or something next for shits and giggles. Anyway...



I did also get the FabFilter Pro-Q4, which is an awesome plugin.

And finally some clips.

These are all the LTD through the new board, into my EVH 100S into my Mesa OS 412 with an SM57 on a V30 and a Lewitt MCP240 pro or something on a Redback. Mics are going into my RME Fireface. A little of the Fabfilter on the guitars.

Yeah sounds really good m an.. Not much critique at all.. Its dialed in really well.. And honestly I like both the red and boosted blue about equally.. There's sumthin in each I like a tad better than the other but Id be happy with either..

The "EQ" one doesn't really hit for me tho.. Definitely more bloated and darker. Might be good to slip way under the main guitars for some extra fatness perhaps, but not quite happening on its own

Thanks man! I spent some time getting the mics right. Tried a few combinations, and when I got these 2 positioned right, I was like damn, that's nice! haha

I agree about the EQ one. It sounds cool in the room, but not so much on the recording.

I like both the blue boosted and red about equally, too, for similar reasons that you mentioned. Definitely think the Waza is the right choice!

cool stuff, reminds me of early Chimaira. i dont know i like one more than the other, id probably just do the EQ'd one down the middle and a side each of the other two. that eq pedal looks cool, if i didnt have a couple rack parametrics already i would definitely grab one.

Was eyeballing those when they went on discount. Sounds awesome in your hands, man.

Sounds great, good price on that LTD. Almost "normal" pre covid pricing

Fo sho but that's just how it is. But $900 is great today for that guitar.
