Had this bad boy created and shipped. Decided on an Ibanez AZ body, routing for active pickups, but might do just fine with the Ultrasonic in the neck and an APC pickup in the bridge.

The neck joint is an AANJ, but I'll be having a Ibanez super wizard neck spec made with a reverse Fender headstock. I'm thinking one of those fat kind like on a Jimi reissue. Otherwise, gonna stain it close to the Nuno model and call it a day.

I've been keeping an eye out for those and APC pickups. The thing that kills me are people charging up to $300 for an old humbucker. I just want to try them out and see what they're about

Thank you sir! I'm spec'ing the neck right now. I honestly should've requested the neck heel like how Fender does there's, so I could use Warmoth, but live and learn.

Where'd you get the body? I've got a really nice prestige neck from a busted up guitar that could use a new body. It's an older one, but does have the AANJ heel. I'd be interested in checking out prices on a replacement body.
