Ampero II series update

Post by Landshark »

"Hotone’s latest innovation, Sound Clone, takes tone modeling to the next level. As the evolution of our Tone Catch technology, Sound Clone allows you to accurately replicate the sound of real amplifiers and pedals with just a computer and a basic audio interface. Plus, it now supports importing NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) files for use on Hotone devices!"

pretty cool .... haven't updated yet, or even messed with NAM files, but will check them out ...

you know I was skeptical of those units.... but a buddy of mine used one at a gig a while back and it was pretty good... sat well in the mix and didn't sound thin..... granted he was running it in to a power amp and cab and not direct to the PA which I thinks makes a big difference
I can't remember what my signature was..... I'm sure it was something interesting..... :quote:

I have one here but I use it for effects only with my Friedman IR-D. I should update the firmware and try the NAM thing.
