Weekend too busy, Sunday Night Sleepy Clip

Trying not to wake the neighbors, so tested out the new V with my old standby Peavey Studio Pro 112. Threw together a shit drum track and played the very first ever "keep yer fingers movin" song I ever learned from back in the time of the dinosaurs and trilobytes and shit.

Used Mave's production technique of three axes grindin'. No bass 'cause it's late and I don't play it unless I can rumble the house.

Considering that's a 1x12 solid state open back? I think the axe is slingin' some signal in the "that'll do, Pig," direction. :idk:

Thanks, Billy. Funny thing, I've been using this setup to add a bit of brightness to my DSL recordings, which seem a touch dark through the Mesa cab. 6-6-8 on the dials, and it's definitely in that Megadeth brightness camp. Not my usual, but it works for those finger movin' riffs.

I hadn't even read the post, and I was like "This sounds just like old Megadeth"

Nice work!

Thanks, man. I'm thinking I may actually keep working on this one. It's just such a fun song to play.
