Tracii Guns new YT channel

He started an YT channel... yesterday, I think? Anyway, I always liked his playing and tone, so it could be a cool channel.

First video, showing the "right" way to play a Marshall... with an Origin, no less. And yep!! That is indeed the right way to do it. He got that amp sounding really good.

I like how he did that. No B.S. and to the point. The low production value works for me as well for some reason.

Congrats, Tracii! The biggest pile of crap from Marshall in the past five to ten years sounds good in the video.

Just to spark some controversy: Tracii > Slash

Not even close. There’s a reason Tracii is playing the jr club circuit and Slash plays arenas.

This channel sucks. Oh yay he made a shitty video on his iPhone saying Marshalls have to be turned up to sound good. Really ground breaking material from this clown.

I don't think the Origin is crap. I think it's a misunderstood amp and that's Marshall fault. This is pretty much a simple, old school circuit so they shouldn't have put a master volume or effects loop in it, because it only detracts from the tone and causes user error. But once you wind it up, it sounds like a good Marshall should. Pretty remarkable for the price actually.

Story does not check out because Slash isn't in the B-52s. B-52s > Black Sabbath > Guns N Roses > L.A. Guns

lol. I guess I was wondering what that tip was about a Marshall.. Im thinking, I know to turn em up and "all on 10" is a good starting point. Even knew to maybe 0 the bass on some.. And then... he says exactly that.. lol

I assume it's for people that are starting out and just bought an Origin. Since there's about 1 million videos/posts about the Origin saying it doesn't sound good and lacks gain.
