New video... fuzz and analog delay in front of the cranked Origin

Sounds pretty cool lol.

Since he just started his page It's actually a smart play to make these videos showing how to make very popular budget Marshall sound as good as the more expensive Marshalls. He will get a lot of traffic from these in a hurry.

I discovered this by accident once when I posted a few videos of a Bugera T5 my wife bought me as a joke. They weren't even good videos but they had over 5000 listens in a couple of weeks. I replaced the shit tubes it came with in one and since it uses a single 12AX7 it made a huge improvement in the way the amp sounds. I used a fuzz pedal a wah through it in the other. I didn't even know it was happening until I started getting messages from people in different languages. I never used Google translate more to read and reply to YT messages.

Are we still talking about GnR? ;)

Good one. I would add Linkin Park and Oasis.

UYI 1 + 2 both fucked

even if they didn't, Appetite is a top 5 all time album so it's hardly just a "good" album.

Subbed..cool channel and while im not a Marshall guy I guess I am that nerd who didn't know i should crank everything. Tried and 800 and a 900 and thought they were both weak. Makes me want to revisit. I did have the Origin 50w but it was Monomyth modded and that thing smoked without maxing it out (actually fell apart when very loud)

But yeah, I don't care about LA guns at all, I thought they were typical 80s cheese. Will give them another listen though. Tracii is cool, definitely looking good for his age too.

I like these videos and I do like his playing on them but Slash all day, he's part of why GnR was so badass in their day and they were definitely badass.

Use your illusion condensed into one album wouldve been cool. And I know he was a junkie and apparently they had to splice together nearly every 8 measures of his drumming on Civil War, the only track he recorded iirc. so I get it you gotta dump the guy, but Adler doesn’t get the respect he deserves for giving G nR that sleazy rock vibe. That dude played Sooo loose and behind the beat but it was perfect for their sound. I even enjoy watching some of his drum play thru vids today. Where he’s just playing the drums and dude was one of the better simplistic drummers. His groove and sense of push and pull was honestly really good! And it’s no surprise why I think Civil war was the best track on either of those albums

Dude hell yeah! Civil War is my favorite out of the two as well. I get it, there's a lot of filler... I was just getting in to music at a young age when the albums dropped so I thought they were the coolest shit. Blasting Get in the Ring in 5th grade? Fuck yeah and I didn't know what the fuck he was even talking about lol!

But yeah over the years Civil War kinda became the favorite.

Plus the whole nostalgia thing of jamming them back to back with my brother when we were real young. My dad fuckin hated GnR bc of Axl so he really didn't enjoy this time lmao.

Looking back, Appetite reintroduced us to sleazy 1970s’ rock and heavy boogie. At the time it seemed to be soooo far removed from where metal and glam had gone at the time. It rocked so hard and straight up that it sounded almost like a brand new sound. But really, it was a modern throwback that incorporated so much of what had come before(even punk and The New York Dolls). Then they dropped Lies and we were like WTF?, this is amazing.

I remember walking into the living room while dad was flipping channels in 1988. He blew past GnR live at the Ritz.I made him go back and forced my parents and sisters to watch the rest of it. I was completely enthralled. The whole sound was so raw and gnarly.
