I’ve seen/heard. I’m reading it as you spent an additional $900 and not a modded amp for $900. So if that’s the case not exactly cheap, but… Results are results. If you bought a modded amp for $900 then that’s very fair

no, $900 total, i think he only did a few of them during the lockdown while the parts for his amp line were backed up or something, i guess he got a batch of them cheap for $450 a piece new, for that amount i figured it was worth a shot for what i was hearing in his demos, i think it was worth it. theres three different modes that all sound pretty different, ill have to do a clip comparing them all. id love to try one of his actual amps

i got so many cool amps now with no real overlaps in tone that i cant pick a favorite, my favorite amp is whichever im playing at the moment as dumb as that kind of sounds but its true lol, but yeah the monomyth is great and records very well. i just go dead center now to start at least, which most of the time seems to work fine, i got a led flashlight the same size as a 57 and marked the center of each speaker for reference

And I DO have overlap with 3 different marks

I’m with you on dead center too, that’s typically abouts where I end up micing at practice for the IEM feed. I’m very much a treble junky and usually anything else sounds to woofy/dark to me

Damn, that is mean as hell... and killer. I have never tried those speakers, but that works!
