The Stockholm-based company is famous for its guitar amplifiers, used by legendary musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Lana Del Rey.

:freak: :freak: :freak:

The modded 800 is £2700 here, which is fucking ludicrous money.

At these prices new it makes more sense to buy a Friedman, Suhr or a Metropoulos if you’re spending that kind of coin.
More guitars than anyone could need
—————
Metropoulos Metroplex Mk I
Egnater Seminar Amp 50
Orange Rockerverb 50 Mk III
Peavey 5150
Fender 1976 Vibrolux Reverb
—————
Marshall 1960A G12M25 Greenbacks
Metropoulos Slant 2x12 G12H75 Creambacks.

A $20 SD-1 does all of that in front of my 800. Or a Klone, RAT, TS or fuzz. From all of the demos I’ve watched and my experience with a recently sold off Friedman Plex, the majority of those gain mods turn these amps to mush. At this point I would put my dollars into a Ceriatone 187/86 and just boost it. I should have done that in the first place.

Some kind of diode clipping. I assume based on the Jose mods.

Woulda been cool to add buffered loop, resonance, cut control, Aiken ppimv, Larry/Aiken presence and a built-in OD like a Timmy. FFS, they are Marshall, they could hire Dan Gower and have a custom mod shop. He lives like 50 miles from Bletchley.
