Regarding the marketing: the Mesa Interview/demo video did strike me kinda odd. There's a moment where they mention Metallica getting some, then quickly follow it up with how a bunch of other San Fran people got em too. Kinda like marketing made them say 'it isn't just a metallica amp! Promise!'
