Awesome deal. New Spruce junior ranger pedals.

Post by broslinger »

I’m a big fan of spruce pedals.

They simplified the national park pedals and figured out how to make them cheaper. (I’m guessing they have the boards pre-populated).

The acadia fuzz is the first. I LOVE my big acadia.

$119.

So, i was rocking all of my big national park pedals today.

I hate to say it, but i prefer the saguaros and the volcanoes to the big acadia. I probably should have waited til one of those came out in the junior series.

What am i talking about? I would have just bought all of them anyways.

I was using some pretty twangy pickups though. I remember the acadia being pretty liquidy with humbuckers.

I’ll let you know the continuing results of my experiment on monday.

Btw, the glaciers just beat out my benson preamp for end of chain od/amp tones. It’s back on the board.

When spruce does a junior glaciers, it could be a game changer for a lot of fuzz players. It’s just killer.

Got my junior acadia today. Plugged it into my rig. Didn’t touch the knobs.

It totally rips. I would have no hesitation in buying one if i needed a badass fuzz for an extremely reasonable price. Plus, you’re supporting a dmall builder who makes great sounding stuff.

Quick test today.

They sound different. The big one has a sound that makes it obvious it has old germanium transistors. It’s gnarlier. It’s definitely noisier.

The new one sounds less gnarly. It’s also not noisy at all.

They both sound completely awesome.

Different beasts.

It sounds like you're a big fan of spruce pedals, especially the Acadia Fuzz! They’ve taken the complexity out of national park pedals, likely by using pre-populated boards, making them more affordable. The Acadia Fuzz is a standout, and for good reason—many, including you, love the big Acadia sound.
