Texas bros check in

Post by Guitarbilly »

Is everyone doing good there? Several days of nonstop flooding in the state. I hope everyone is safe and dry.

I'm in Houston, just a few mile NW of central Houston. Most of the rain has been affecting cities just north of Houston (i.e Spring, Livingston, Crosby, etc). We've been getting alot of rain in my area, but not the shit storms they've been getting. May is usually what we call monsoon season. We've had worse, but this is still pretty bad. Of course, it is early in the month, so who knows if it will get worse. Red Cross and insurance companies say May is one of their busiest months in the Houston area.

My Mom and Dad both live in different parts of Texas and thankfully, they didn't get hit with the bad stuff this time around.
