Jammed with my drummer tonight. This amp fuckin rips. Through my Doronzo cab with 2 2003 Mesa V30s and 2 Redbacks. This amp is INSANELY loud. At least as loud as my old Mark IVb. I was able to turn up to a point where I had a hard time hearing the drums and had to turn down a bit. But now I'm curious about how loud it can go lolol.

Jealous of your drummer, hes pretty solid. I've played drums off and on my whole life, mostly off.....played often when I was younger.

Just started getting back into it because I'll never find the drummer I need so I've been jamming with some friends to start something up with them.

Anyway, it's hard work really trying to focus on the double bass.

Killer tunes, killer tones, killer drummer! I played a few Mark V's when they first came out and loved em never understood the hate. I thought maybe I was wrong but I guess not. Might have to pick one up next time I see a good deal.

Thanks! I will pass on the compliments to him. We've been jamming together since around 2012, and he's the only drummer I've met where we just click musically. Songs come easily and naturally when we're working together. He was the original drummer for Faces of Many (and actually brought me into that band when they wanted a second guitar player...and now I have written all but the first song the band wrote lol) for the first half of our existence, but that went a different direction. I missed jamming with him, so we have been back at it for about 9 months or so. We've got 4 mostly complete, and 2 that we're actively working on right now. I would love if I could get him back into Faces and have these songs become the next Faces EP. We'll see. We don't have a drummer right now, and it seems like a no brainer. He's creative, and he's a good dude to hang with. But he isn't without his flaws. He can have a hard time keeping consistent time, especially with double kicks going on. The tempo on songs would tend to drop. It's pretty noticeable in our song Boar Queen during the verses. I didn't catch it when we recorded, and now it's there forever lol.

But yeah, I love Marc, and I love jamming with him.

I understood the hate!! But I guess it wasn't justified. You learn a lot in 10 years, and now that I know what I'm doing, I am extremely happy with this amp. But I also really think the previous one must've had an issue from being dropped hard enough to shatter 4 power tubes lol. Because it didn't sound nearly this good. The nice thing is the hate made them less expensive than other Mraks haha.
