Thomas Blug made a cool video about, since he was there from the beginning.
I've always liked H&K, they always were a cutting edge company and came out with a lot of innovative products. I've owned some of their amps and gear over the years and they all sounded good and had their own tone. It will be interesting to see what happens now.

Agreed, they've had an aura for me that I've always been impressed with.

I remember killswitch using the mki triamp and playing Toms mkiii. Insane amp. I had the deluxe 40, and it was absolutely not for me. But it looked cool and had everything built in.

my Switchblade was BY FAR my longest lasting amp to this point. I still love my H&K 412 cab, and while shooting it out with other cabs at local "tone fests" it regularly is picked as the best sounding cab in the groups. Hopefully this will push the company further.

I still have my access preamp with both sound module boards. It’s cool.

I have a Switchblade 100W head. I haven’t played it in a while, but I keep it because it’s worth more to me as a “everything I need is built-in” practice space amp than I could get if I sold it. It’s also stupid, F’ing loud. Like ridiculously loud. That thing can sterilize small woodland creatures…

I bought a triamp mk1 bc I thought it would be cool to have 2 clean options and 4 gain options. Realized pretty quickly that I did not need 2 clean options OR 4 gain options.
Sold it cheap to a band I liked who had their trailer & gear stolen. My good deed for that year.

I'm a big fan of the Switchblade myself. I've owned 2of them. They're a great plug and play, full rig solution. I wouldn't mind getting another one.IndyWS6 wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 10:11 pm I have a Switchblade 100W head. Re: Hughes and Kettner sold to Thomann
it would be awesome if they reissued the Rotosphere...... also if they ditch that god awful Blue LED and clear plexi look.... I would have gotten one of their amps a LONG time ago if it didn't look the way it did.... at least give users a switch to turn the LEDs off
I can't remember what my signature was..... I'm sure it was something interesting.....
