Thanks, dudes. I appreciate it!
FWIW, I started trying to re-arrange this, and I don't think I can. I may just sing over this, and do some creative subtractions/additions. Maybe, fade out early. I don't want to let this go.

Re: Clip: dreamy, dark. Not a song yet.
Thanks a lot for listening, dudes! Recording is so much fun. The dry individual tracks always sound so shitty and raw, then they come together in a soup. I love it. I'm REALLY starting to like my reverse headstock guitars. When you hit the low string really hard, it seems to go slightly flat because...

Congrats, man. Pickups make such a big difference. I'm still really digging Creamery and Madlove.
FWIW, I don't even know why they make those crazy long legs and long springs.
I trim my springs every time so I don't struggle getting the screw into the pickup leg. There's ALWAYS a solution.

https://soundcloud.com/holidaysintheusa/test-track-do-not-listen-to-this So, I'm writing this song about a girl who was on a number of medications for mental issues. She kind of led me on, then broke my heart. I put this track to tape, but ended up not liking the arrangement. I'm going to re-record ...

Re: strat setup question (preference?)
I like the sound of floating trems better. I dislike strat trems both ways though. I couldn’t stand them either. But after working on 100s, I started to come around to it. In fact I think bent steel saddles really do increase “harmonic content” more than any other saddle. But these trems have that ...

Re: PSA: Possibly last ever Egnater Amp Building Seminar.
I did it twice. It’s worth it. I’m lucky to be about a 3 hour drive away though. Bruce is a super nice guy. Cool to hang out with for a few days. He takes the mysterious bullshit out of amp building. His fx loop design is the best imo. Simple series. Tube Buffered. Works perfectly to use your semina...

Re: New Song: 100bpm. about death and regerts.
Dude, love this one. Great mood, lyrics fit perfectly with the underlying tune, and that chorus haunts and sticks with ya. I'll probably be whisper-singing, "If I should die on sixty-five, at least I know I tried" to myself all day now. Well done. Thanks a lot, dude. Sometimes, when you t...
