From what I read, Paul was supposed to start recording in 2020 and then Covid happened, so Kerry had several months to flesh out his solos. There probably aren't many Slayer songs that he had that much time.

Not sure why it being made in the Czech Republic is a negative. Bohemia has been making organs, brass, woodwind and stringed instruments since the sixteenth century. They have a long tradition of excellent luthiers. Some of the finest violins, cellos and upright basses ever made come from there.
