I never had a Grunge pedal but my Valve FX rack preamp has Grunge as one of it's distortion patches.

I used 10-46 exclusively most of my life. I put 9-42 on my Tele when I got my first one about 8 years ago because I wanted a slinkier feel and it felt so good I started using them on everything but my Les Paul. 9's don't feel right to me on my Les Paul.
