Congrats on the cool amp! Like I said in your comment on YT, there is a strong sense of wanting one of those Sirroms now! That said, I really would love to hear a Perplex'd S3 too.

The 57 really is a great pickup. I will listen to this clip when I can on a good setup.

I am not going to lie, I was kind of underwhelmed by the SL-X. It sounded good, but the DSL is definitely better to my ears. I will take my Rivera amps with their British sound over the SL-X all day.

The only thing I would worry about is whether the tubes have been sorted through to remove the ones that are likely to fail. Hopefully PSVane is good at providing quality tubes. I have seen them being used a lot in the the HiFi world, so hopefully they are solid.

Hahahaha it did come off a little bit of an advertisement, didn't it lol. I still like other tubes, but the prices they are asking for Russian tubes are stupid.
