I need help with ground loop/noise issues with my Helix LT

I've been having issues with noise with my home amp rig setup. I think it might be a ground loop issue. I finally got a decent power supply with power conditioning built in for my amps and effects hoping that would help. It actually does except when I run my Helix in the FX loop. I'm assuming it's the cheap cables I'm using for the 4 cable method, but I'm doubting that's the only reason I'm getting this much noise. I've got new cables coming in the mail today. What are some solutions to fix this noise issue?

Ebtech Hum Eliminators. You’ll need two.

Take one of those cheap cables you currently have and unsolder the ground wire on one end. Use it as cable #4 of your 4cm (from the Helix output to the amp's fx return), with the ground lifted end on the Helix side. See if that helps.

Isn’t this basically what fractal does with their overpriced humbuster cables?

I'll give this a whorl on the new cables I have coming it The cheapies I was using are cheeeaap
Like, I can't unsolder them because they incase that part with hard plastic cheap
The new cables are just well made base level cables so I can trust myself pulling the solder gun on one of them.

Right on, that should work. Try position 4 first, the works with most devices. If not try position 3 or possibly even both.
