Yes, they’re hipster instagram fodder that all the YouTube guitar bros play. And some of the models are definitely not my bag. That being said, I played one this weekend and it felt so good. Just an amazing guitar. The neck was comfy as hell, the body was super resonant, it just sat well while I was playing it, real nice sustain. And the pickup combo was a little different but sounded awesome. I haven’t played a guitar like that, that stuck with me this way in a long time. Can’t stop thinking about this guitar. Prices are excessive as hell but I’m still considering trying to off a bunch of stuff to justify getting one. Got that GAS bad.

I played one at Chuck Levins a while. I agree they're great guitars. Very well made. They're not my style at all, too hipster, but the quality is undeniable.

Yeah, it was one of the Voltur models which in my mind is almost like a non-reverse Firebird crossed with a Fender offset.

So many of these internet guitar companies everywhere. I saw a VIK guitar a couple weeks ago that I was drooling over. Glad it sold haha. $6k might be too much for me, even if I had the money haha.

Yeah in some ways it’s cool there’s so many options and access to all these small builders doing cool shit but for serious, some of the prices are just outlandish.

Is Novo owned by the guy that started Fano?
I LOVE Fano guitars, and I've heard Novos are legit. Glad to hear they live up to the hype.

Right? They’re real nice. I have enough semi hollows though and I do really need a solid body. The one I played was also 24.75” which is uncommon for me too.
And yep, Sanchez knows it, it’s Fano’s latest/current. And yeah I really wasn’t expecting much was figuring they’d be overhyped but it was so good. That fucking guitar.

Speaking of hollow bodies, I had an Aria Artist hollow and I thought it was going to explode the first time i got some feedback!
I traded it for some auto body work.
